Joey van Ommen is a founder of Bird, an Amsterdam-based omnichannel cloud communications platform originally known as MessageBird, where he also serves as Head of Product & Partner.[1][4][12][14] He previously led product and engineering at MessageBird in roles including Head of Product and Director of Product, overseeing development of APIs and communication tools across channels such as SMS, voice, WhatsApp, email, and other messaging platforms.[9][10][15] Based in the Netherlands, he has spent over a decade building and scaling user-centric communications software products.[3][9][10][13]
