Aaron Grant is a Canadian entrepreneur and **co-founder of North** (originally founded as Thalmic Labs in 2012), a wearable technology company best known for the Myo armband and Focals smart glasses.[4][6][14] He co-founded North with fellow University of Waterloo mechatronics engineering graduates Stephen Lake and Matthew Bailey, and served as a co-founder and technical leader/CTO as the company grew and was later acquired by Google in 2020.[4][1][7][13][15] In 2024 he founded **Jetson**, an electric home-focused company, where he is currently founder, based in North Vancouver, Canada.[1][10]
